Founded in 1863, the Polokwane Golf Club was virtually a desert. However, as the years progressed, so did the course, and it is now rated one of the best with 700 members and bent grass greens.

The new club house was completed in 1996 and boasts an excellent halfway house, changerooms, braai area and function hall.  The bar creates its own atmosphere, where once inside you just dont want to go home.

The club is very proud to have Retief Goosen, U.S. Open Champion as a previous club professional.  Other notables include Callie Swart and veteran Ray Earle who have both achieved Springok colours.
